Nannie Minor Rowe
Nannie Minor Rowe (1854 - 2/10/1879), daughter of George Henry Clay Rowe and Virginia SLEDD Rowe, married Paul C Smith on 10/14/1877 in Richmond, Henrico County, Virginia.

Below is the death notice for Nannie, she apparently dropped her maiden name and kept her middle name as a surname. Not sure whether she took her husband's name or not. Nannie went through some trauma as a young girl, when she witnessed her mother's infidelity. Her mother, who died in 1873, of TB, is not mentioned in the obituary.

From The Virginia Star, Wednesday, January 15, 1879:

MINOR - In Richmond, Va., on Friday the 10th instant,
in the twenty - fourth year of her age. NANNIE MINOR,
wife of Paul C Smith, and only daughter of the late
Geo H G Rowe, of this city.
